Phillies 9, Marlins 1

PHILADELPHIA — Former Pasco High star Domonic Brown hit two of the Phillies' season-high five homers and Cole Hamels pitched seven dominant innings before leaving in the eighth with tightness in the middle of his back. The left-hander said he doesn't expect to miss a start. "I just wanted to play it smart," he said. Hamels tied teammate Roy Halladay and Boston's Jon Lester for the most wins in the majors at nine.
