Cubs 3, Braves 2
CHICAGO — Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run homer in Chicago's three-run second and Randy Wells pitched into the seventh to improve to 4-1 against the Braves. Carlos Marmol got the last three outs and joined Lee Smith as Cubs relievers to post consecutive 30-save seasons. Aramis Ramirez extended his hitting streak to 13 games. Chipper Jones and Alex Gonzalez hit solo homers for Atlanta, which had only three hits.
