Braves 1, Mets 0
ATLANTA — Tim Hudson struck out 10 and Chipper Jones hit an RBI single in the eighth inning as Atlanta held its NL wild-card edge over the Cardinals. One day after the Mets won 12-2 and got 20 hits, Hudson and Craig Kimbrel shut them down. The Braves have won three of four and New York has lost seven of eight. Jones, whose career has been full of key hits against the Mets, did it again. He doubled in the seventh and was stranded but delivered in the eighth with a single over second off R.A. Dickey to drive in Jason Heyward.
