New Yorkers shrug off anxieties as 9/11 milestone approaches

New Al Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahri was said to have initiated the lastest plot to avenge bin Laden?s killing at the hands of a U.S. Navy SEAL team in May, according to intelligence sources quoted by several U.S. outlets.

America’s greatest city is, thus far in this pivotal weekend of remembrance, offering a consummate lesson in all that has changed in the 10 years since Sept. 11, 2001, when the twin towers of the World Trade Center turned to dust.
