Red Sox 5, White Sox 3
CHICAGO — Dustin Pedroia hit a go-ahead two-run single in the seventh inning and Jason Varitek homered for Boston, which won two of three games in the series. Chicago starter Mark Buehrle pitched six solid innings, giving up only Varitek's homer in the second and leaving the game with a 3-2 lead.
