Panthers (2-12) at Steelers (10-4)
Time/TV/radio: 8:20; NFL Network; 1010-AM
Line, OU: Steelers by 141/2, 37
The Panthers managed just their second win Sunday, beating the inept Cardinals. Now they face a team intent on capturing a first-round bye and, frankly, winning the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh has avoided the huge upset this season, losing to the Ravens, Saints, Patriots and Jets. Those teams have a combined record of 42-14. The point? If Carolina wins, it won't be because it caught Pittsburgh off guard with this much on the line.
Holder's pick: Steelers 31, Panthers 16
