BELGRADE ? The finale of the Walk on Wire series organised by the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has been reserved for the performance by 23-year-old German violinist Maria-Elisabeth Lott, one in a string of world-class musicians who began their careers as a child. After the remarkable Sarah Chang, Lott will give a concert accompanied by the philharmonic orchestra at the Kolarac Hall this evening and show why she is currently one of the most promising and sought-after violinists in Europe. The great Yehudi Menuhin said when she was 13 that Maria-Elisabeth had the ability to play as well as he at that time.
