Star reporter detained, interrogated by Chinese police for taking photograph

At one point I asked one of the police, "Am I being detained?" No, the officer said, you are not being detained. Well if that was the case, I said, then I?d be heading off. It was made plain ? in no uncertain terms ? that I was not going anywhere.
