A seller claims to have the only audio copy from the CBS-TV broadcast of Super Bowl I. According to the listing, the videotapes of the CBS and NBC broadcasts were copied over or destroyed. "The reel-to-reel tape has the entire game featuring Green Bay & Kansas City with Ray Scott announcing the first half & Jack Whitaker the second half. Frank Gifford does the color. Pat Summerall got locker room comments from Vince Lombardi and Hank Stram. I have been in contact with NFL Films, Packer Hall Of Fame, etc. They do not have a copy of this."

When the Packers won Super Bowl I, their largest player weighed 260 pounds. Now, 44 years later, as Green Bay prepares to face Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XLV, 13 players on the Packers' active roster weigh 300 pounds or more. According to an Associated Press survey, there was one NFL player who weighed as much as 300 pounds in 1970, three 300-pounders in 1980, 94 in 1990, 301 in 2000, 394 in 2009 and 532 as training camp began before the 2010 season.

Video game says Steelers win
Electronic Arts has unveiled its annual prediction for the outcome of Super Bowl XLV, based on a simulation of the game run through Madden NFL 11. The winner: The Pittsburgh Steelers. According to the simulation, the Steelers hang on to defeat the Packers 24-20, thanks to a late interception by Aaron Rodgers in the closing moments. Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace was MVP with five catches for 111 yards and the winning touchdown. EA Sports has correctly predicted the winner of the Super Bowl six of the past seven years, including last year. The lone miss happened during Super Bowl XLII, when the New York Giants upset the New England Patriots.
