Hull man's terrifying footage of New Zealand earthquake

A HULL man who emigrated to New Zealand two years ago shot this terrifying footage of the Christchurch earthquake.

Gavin Blowman, 35, has been left homeless following the devastating quake.

He is staying in a friend's caravan after his house in Sumner, near the city, was hit by the aftershock tremor which has left 65 people dead.

His relieved family received a text on Monday night from Gavin, telling them he was okay.

They have closely followed his twitter updates after being unable to contact him.
