A 21-year-old woman is fighting for her life after suffering serious head injuries in a crash at the weekend.
The woman, who has not been identified, was a passenger in a Honda sports car which crashed into a lamppost on Brighton Street, west Hull, in the early hours of Saturday.
She is currently in a critical condition in Hull Royal Infirmary.
The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man, is also in hospital with back and head injuries. His condition is not thought to be serious.
No other cars were involved in the accident, which occurred between Witty Street and the A63 roundabout shortly before 4.30am on Saturday.
