Monsters come up short against Bulldogs

Despite outshooting the Bulldogs, 34-24, the Lake Erie Monsters lost, 3-2, to host Hamilton on Thursday night.

Despite outshooting the Bulldogs, 34-24, the Lake Erie Monsters lost, 3-2, to host Hamilton on Thursday night.

Mark Olver and Ben Walter scored for Lake Erie, both on the power play.

Jason Bacashihua started in goal and had 16 saves on 19 shots for the Monsters before being replaced in the third period by John Grahame, who stopped all five Bulldog shots he faced.

The teams will play in Cleveland on Saturday.
