MADISON, Wis. — Nobody's perfect.
Jordan Taylor and Wisconsin found themselves in a huge hole against previously unbeaten Ohio State, but the Badgers needed only about 13 minutes to shatter the Buckeyes' chase at an undefeated season.
"We knew we had a run in us," Taylor said.
Taylor scored 21 of his 27 in the second half, rallying No. 13 Wisconsin from a 15-point deficit to beat No. 1 Ohio State 71-67 Saturday and keep Division I without a perfect team since Indiana in 1975-76.
Taylor was the catalyst, sparking a 15-0 run with eight straight points then keeping the Badgers calm down the stretch.
"(He) made all the difference in the world. He came down and hit those back-to-back 3s and got us right back into it, and from there you could just see we had some momentum," Wisconsin's Jon Leuer said. "It was unbelievable what he was able to do in such a short period of time, when we were battling adversity."
Wisconsin (19-5, 9-3 Big Ten) beat a No. 1 team for the first time since 1962, when it was also Ohio State. The Badgers joined Florida as the only programs to knock off the same No. 1 school in both football and men's basketball in the same academic year. The Gators also beat Ohio State in both sports in 2006-07.
Fans at the sold-out Kohl Center stormed the court, just like when they rushed the field at Camp Randall Stadium after the Badgers' 31-18 win over then-No. 1 Ohio State on Oct. 16.
William Buford had 21 points for Ohio State (24-1, 11-1).
NO. 2 KANSAS 89, IOWA ST. 66: Twins Marcus and Markieff Morris both had double doubles and keyed a 23-4 first-half run that carried the host Jayhawks (24-1, 9-1 Big 12).
NO. 3 TEXAS 69, BAYLOR 60: Freshman Tristan Thompson had 17 points and 13 rebounds and the host Longhorns (22-3, 10-0 Big 12) held on after the Bears cut an 18-point deficit to three in the final two minutes.
NO. 7 BYU 72, UTAH 59: Jimmer Fredette had 23 points, fill-in starter Charles Abouo added 22 and the host Cougars (24-2, 10-1 MWC) pulled away late in the rivals' final regular-season meeting as Mountain West foes.
NO. 16 LOUISVILLE 73, NO. 12 SYRACUSE 69: Kyle Kuric had 23 points, Preston Knowles added 22 and Peyton Siva sank the clinching free throws in the final moments as the host Cardinals (19-6, 8-4 Big East) beat the Orange (20-6, 7-6) for the seventh straight time.
NO. 19 MISSOURI 84, OKLA. 61: Reserves Michael Dixon had 16 points and Justin Safford 11 for the host Tigers (19-6, 5-5 Big 12), who lost leading scorer Marcus Denmon early in the second half when he was struck in the face under the Oklahoma basket.
NO. 20 UNC 64, CLEMSON 62: Freshman Harrison Barnes had 20 points, former Sickles High standout John Henson had 14 points and 12 rebounds and the visiting Tar Heels (18-6, 8-2 ACC) bounced back from their collapse at Duke.
NO. 22 TEXAS A&M 70, TEXAS TECH 67: Khris Middleton had 16 points for the visiting Aggies (19-5, 6-4 Big 12), who overcame a 10-point deficit in the first half.
NO. 23 VANDY 81, NO. 18 KY. 77: John Jenkins had a career-high 32 points and hit six 3-pointers for the Commodores (18-6, 6-4 SEC), who swept a three-game homestand. The Wildcats (17-7, 5-5) fell to 1-5 on the road in the conference.
NO. 24 TEMPLE 75, DAYTON 63: Ramone Moore had 26 points for the visiting Owls (19-5, 9-2 Atlantic 10), who won their sixth in a row despite missing top rebounder Lavoy Allen because of a sprained ankle.
NO. 25 W. VA. 82, DEPAUL 71: John Flowers led a balanced offense with 15 points, and the host Mountaineers (16-8, 7-5 Big East) never trailed.
RARE FEAT: Cleveland State's Norris Cole had 41 points and 20 rebounds in an 86-76 win over visiting Youngstown State, making him the first player to have a 40-20 game since Oklahoma's Blake Griffin had 40 points and 23 rebounds in a 95-74 victory over Texas Tech on Feb. 14, 2009.

UCF 58, TULSA 57: Keith Clanton had 16 points and Marcus Jordan 15 as the host Knights (15-8, 2-8 C-USA) ended an eight-game losing streak.
ECKERD 80, NOVA SE 65: Freshman guard Alex Bodney had a career-high 12 points to lead five players in double figures for the visiting Tritons (17-6, 8-5 Sunshine State).
ROLLINS 86, SAINT LEO 49: Matt Robertson had 27 points and 10 rebounds for the host Tars, who held the Lions (10-13, 1-12 SSC) to 18-of-60 shooting from the floor.
