The Seahawks understand just how dangerous Devin Hester can be as a returner.

Hester nearly brought the Bears back from a 10-point deficit in the final minutes when the teams met in Week 6 in Chicago. Hester took a punt 89 yards with less than two minutes left to trim Seattle's lead to three. The Seahawks recovered the ensuing onside kick and won 23-20.

Seattle coach Pete Carroll was effusive in his praise of Hester, calling the former University of Miami standout the "best at what he does in history."

"So we have to be very clear about what our plan is, which is to stay on the attack on special teams and to stay aggressive," he said. "We know that he's going to get the ball in his hands, so we're going to have to do a really good job of pursuing, and scheme-wise, and the effort … every phase has to be on the mark."

MORE SEAHAWKS: LB Lofa Tatupu missed his second straight practice as he recovers from a concussion suffered last weekend. Tatupu still must be cleared to play Sunday.

DOME SWEET DOME: The Packers might play in winter weather at Lambeau Field, but they also can make themselves at home in a dome.

Since coach Mike McCarthy took over in 2006, the Packers are 10-5 in regular-season dome games. QB Aaron Rodgers has 10 career starts in domes, with a 66.8 completion percentage, 18 TDs and five interceptions.

The Packers face a tough test against the Falcons at the Georgia Dome on Saturday night, but G Daryn Colledge figures if they can handle the Vikings' Metrodome, they can handle just about anything.

"We have experience with loud situations, we know how to make the adaptations to play in a situation like that and make the adjustment," he said. "For us, it's another game."
